This Beauty Creator Club (the “Competition”) is organized by L’OREAL MIDDLE EAST FZE (“L’Oréal ”), whose registered office is located The Galleries 3, Downtown Jebel Ali, P.O. Box 16924, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The Competition aims to empower the voices of beauty creators and identify one hundred (100) creative talents and get the chance to win prizes as per the below terms and conditions.
Please read carefully the terms and conditions of this Competition. By participating to this Competition, participants including but not limited to participants are deemed to have irrevocably accepted these terms and conditions without reserve and therefore eligible for entry into the Competition.
The Beauty Creator Club is a free online competition on www.beautycreatorclub.event-loreal.com website (the “Website”), with no obligation to purchase, starting the 15 th of October 2024.
- Applicants must be residents of the GCC, and above 18 years old (the “Applicants”).
- Applicants from Saudi Arabia must have a valid media license issued by relevant authorities in Saudi Arabia to be eligible.
- Potential nominees are subject to verification of eligibility and identity which may include a background check and completion of any documentation required by L’Oréal to complete such background check, the results of which must be completely satisfactory as determined by L’Oréal in its sole discretion.
- Only applications registered on the landing page and video posted on #beautycreatorclub will be taken into account
- The Applicants shall register on the Website www.beautycreatorclub.event-loreal.com and follow the directions provided to complete and submit the form (“Submission”)
- The Applicants must be above eighteen (18) years old and based in the GCC.
- Applicants from Saudi Arabia must have a valid media license issued by relevant authorities in Saudi Arabia to be eligible.
- All nominations must be received before and no later than November 15 th 2024 to be eligible;
- All Submissions must be complete and provide all required information as stated on the beauty creator form included on the Website.
- Incomplete and incorrect entries will immediately be disqualified.
- An official panel of jury that will consist of a group of beauty experts will review the qualified application and select hundred (100) winners (collectively “Winners”) from among the eligible application received based on the best judgement of the jury panel.
- The Winners will be announced on 15 th December 2024.
- The Winners will be contacted by the concerned team to arrange for the partnership with L’Oréal and arrange the delivery of the Prize. The Winners who are not reachable will lose their right to their prize. L’Oréal is not responsible for faulty contact information provided by participants that would result in failing to contact the Winner. An alternate Winner may be selected.
- Winners will be entitled to receive a high-end beauty box worth a minimum of Three Hundred US Dollars (300 USD retail sale price).
- Get the chance to enter in a partnership with L’Oreal where the Winners will get the chance to work with L’Oréal’s brands (including YSL, Armani Beauty, Lancôme, Urban Decay, IT Cosmetics and Kiehl’s), receive products in avant-premiere, try complementary beauty services, get your best content amplified with paid media, attend exclusive events and meet industry experts as per L’Oréal’s guidelines, instructions and time frame.
- Competition participation gives L’Oreal and its affiliates a worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, create derivative works from, and display the videos, pictures, surname, first name, voice, signature, likeness and qualities, this list being non-exhaustive in whole or in part and to incorporate it into other works, in any form, media or technology now known or later developed, including for promotional or marketing purposes.
- The participants agree to save and hold harmless L’Oréal and its respective subsidiaries, employees and agents from any and all liabilities claims, actions, suits, demands, obligations, damages, losses, indemnities or complaints of any kind whatsoever raised or made arising out of participating in these Competitions.
- By entering the competition, participants warrant that all information submitted by them is true, current, and complete.
- L’Oréal is not responsible for any delayed or not received competition entries due to any error, omission, Internet or software problems or any other reason beyond L’Oréal’s control.
- L’Oréal will not be held responsible if, in a case of force majeure or events beyond its control, it is forced to cancel the present competition at a later stage, defer it or modify its conditions and it may refuse to Competition the prize if entry procedures or these terms and conditions have not been adhered to or if it detects any irregularities or fraudulent practices.
- The participants shall refrain from making any statement which is prejudicial, threatening, illegal, defamatory, unauthorized, abusive, injurious, malevolent, an incitement to violence or to racial, religious, or ethnic hatred, vulgar, obscene, an interference with privacy or the rights to one’s image.
- The participants expressly acknowledge that any logo, material or related intellectual property rights published by L’Oréal or an affiliated entity shall belong exclusively to L’Oréal or to the affiliated entity and may not use in any way whatsoever such logo, material or intellectual property right without L’Oréal written consent.
- The participants agree to hold harmless and indemnify L’Oréal and its affiliates, officers, agents, employees, advertisers, licensors, suppliers or partners from and against any claim arising from or in any way related to their breach of the terms and conditions contained herein.
- Personal data collected for the purposes of the Competition is processed by L’Oréal (or any third party as determined by L’Oréal) in order to enable the jury to choose the competition winners. Personal data is collected to be able to submit the prizes as well as to contact the applicants where necessary and applicable to complete Submission process and inform the qualified nominations. You hereby recognize that, by exercising the right to delete your data prior to the end of the Competitions, you have waived your right to participation. - No employees who contribute to organizing and running the competition, or any staff employed by L’Oréal or any other affiliated entity may be submitted as Applicant however.
